About Mike & Kate
We are Mike and Kate Duval. We are a husband and wife team living in the Mount Washington Valley in North Conway, New Hampshire. We capture weddings all over New England and have been shooting together since September of 2005 shortly after we fell in love with weddings at our own wedding!
What we love about weddings...the anticipation, the joy, the families, the action. We love working together--we have five amazing children of our own and love the chaos that brings to the table, but your wedding day for us is our ticket to go out together and do what we love. Our work, our passion, our joy...comes from you and your wedding day! We are storytellers at heart capturing the emotions, relationships, and story of your wedding day and making these memories last a lifetime.
We pride ourselves on knowing weddings, on anticipating the action, on our ability to be ever ready for a stolen kiss, a silent emotional tear, and knowing glance. We understand that you don't get married everyday...you can trust us that being ready to capture your wedding feels as familiar as riding a bike!
We LOVE FAMILY
We fell in love with weddings at our own wedding 19 years later as we have become parents there is a new level and depth to our appreciation for all of the key players at your wedding. The photographs we capture are the ones that you will look at 10, 20, 30 years down the road and share with all of your family to come. We want you to cherish those images with the ones you cherish!
Our family: Emmie, Chase, Sawyer, Ellie, Maggie and our two husky pups, Auggie and Clover (who are clearly excellent listeners).
