WHAT ABOUT WHAT?

If you've come here looking for more work after visiting our website you're crazy....just kidding, you've come to the right place! This is a place where Mike and I can showcase some of our most recent work--if you're here and the last post is from months ago just remember that our priority is always keeping up with our event editing and getting images to our clients on time! Sadly, the blog, while we love it, doesn't always make it to the top of the to-do list. Rest assured, we'll be back, we always are! In the meantime feel free to get in touch via our contact form!

Whitney’s Inn Wedding in Jackson, NH with Meg & Brian

May 7, 2016

I’m hoping that date up there doesn’t shock anyone…I have a confession to make…I get blog guilt.  Overwhelming blog guilt that all of the weddings we have shot in the last three years haven’t hit the blog, but we made a decision (Mike twisted my arm) that now going forward that the blog cannot be all inclusive and I’ll just do my best!

So, this Whitney’s Inn Wedding with Meg & Brian was a beautiful destination wedding in Jackson, NH which just happens to be up the road from our house in North Conway!  When they asked us to be their wedding photographers we were pretty stoked because they are both photographers in the industry and Brian was a teacher at the Center for Digital Imaging Arts and we knew going into the day that it was going to be amazing on all fronts! Bonus is we got to skip over to Jackson Falls for their portraits and it was just a beautiful day for it!

Based on the images you can see that they didn’t disappoint with their thoughtfulness that went into every little detail they put into their day!  This was also one of three for this particular season where we had the “getting ready” portion of the day spent together…I love that Brian got to zip her dress and they got to be in that moment together! One extra bonus of the day to look out for is how much Meg loves her Dad…I think the fun thing for Mike and I in becoming parents ourselves is watching weddings now from a parent’s perspective is a new level…and Meg’s bond with her dad definitely moved us to tears!

We also had the pleasure of working with Sarah and Rick of PenWeddings and they captured an amazing film (using all film) which blew us away!
