WHAT ABOUT WHAT?

If you've come here looking for more work after visiting our website you're crazy....just kidding, you've come to the right place! This is a place where Mike and I can showcase some of our most recent work--if you're here and the last post is from months ago just remember that our priority is always keeping up with our event editing and getting images to our clients on time! Sadly, the blog, while we love it, doesn't always make it to the top of the to-do list. Rest assured, we'll be back, we always are! In the meantime feel free to get in touch via our contact form!

Aasia is Indian with a big big Indian family…and she fell in love with Keith who is Italian with a big big Italian family…so together they joined forces and had an absolutely gorgeous Indian/Italian wedding at the Sheraton with over 475 guests!  When we met with them pre-wedding it was great to just have a chance to sit and chat and figure out what it was about their photography on their wedding day that they were most excited about.  For them, it was the people.  They did make their way around to every single table to say hi to their guests, but they wanted us to know that the thing that they were both most looking forward to was seeing candid images of a lot of their guests!  With close to 2000 images from the Henna Party and the Wedding day I’m sure they have that!  Actually at the wedding Mike and I were talking about how it would be really interesting to match our images up against the guest list and see just how many of the guests we managed to capture…unless someone was hiding from the camera we most likely have an image of them!

It was such an amazing day where two cultures collide….my favorite part may have been seeing all of Keith’s friends come out in traditional Indian clothes or maybe when Aasia’s nieces and nephews recited and adorable poem filled with marriage advice…or actually, maybe it was the dance off!  Ehh, who am I kidding, it was all amazing and made Mike and I wish that everyone celebrated like they do in Aasia’s family–the colors, the passion, the emotion, the attention to family…it was all wonderful!

Imitaz she looks so beautiful! I cant beleive that is the same little girl I took care of with the chicken pox! That has to be close to 21 or 22 years ago! You must be so proud! I wish them nothing but happiness!

Ooooh, there’s nothing like an Indian wedding–and you captured the vibrance of the day beautifully…Such sweet sentiment in the two hugging shots toward the bottom. And that flip over the back shot is AMAZING!
