WHAT ABOUT WHAT?

If you've come here looking for more work after visiting our website you're crazy....just kidding, you've come to the right place! This is a place where Mike and I can showcase some of our most recent work--if you're here and the last post is from months ago just remember that our priority is always keeping up with our event editing and getting images to our clients on time! Sadly, the blog, while we love it, doesn't always make it to the top of the to-do list. Rest assured, we'll be back, we always are! In the meantime feel free to get in touch via our contact form!

I promised this post a while back…and you know what?  Searching through 6000+ images of people that you know and love it just impossible.  I would love to just do a post with a million of their images.  Ok, well, maybe just a thousand…but yes, it was hard to narrow it down and capture the feeling of the day.  It is normally hard, but then when it is your sister and you have a huge emotional connection to the day (above and beyond the one you get as just a wedding photographer) and you end up posting 7 months after the wedding has past.  I’m dreading the album…because it is either going to be impossible to narrow it down or it is going to span three volumes with waaaay too many pictures!

Ok, so enough chatter…I present to you Jenny and Scott…the love you see in all of the pictures is undeniable.  They are so in sync, such an amazing team…I am so excited to see what the future holds for them–they’re going to do big and amazing things…I’m sure of it!  Oh, and a HUGE thank you to Tony of Team Yu Photography and Anne of  Anne Ruthmann Photography for being there to shoot so much of the day so that Mike and I could enjoy the day and wrangle Emmie the flower girl and Chase the ring “bear” — GRRRR, says Chase.  Have I mentioned how much I LOVE the Fruitlands Museum in Harvard, MA?  I hadn’t been there before this event and man…it must be the most gorgeous view in all of Massachusetts!

The programs we put together and ordered with our printer…I love it when everything goes together…these were pearl paper just like their invites!

Chase and Emmie did so well walking in…it helped that Mike was at the end of the aisle capturing these images!

For any wedding photographers who are shooting weddings for friends and family…I commend you if you can do it all…but if you can why not trade services with another photographer friend that you trust so you can enjoy the day!  I labeled the images that were from Tony and Anne…the credit is below the image.  The ones without credit are from Mike or I…we had the help but it was hard not to touch a camera the whole day!  It was such a fun and awesome day and Emmie lasted until 11pm and then slept the next day until 9am which is the latest she has ever slept in her life.  Chase slept on my back in a wrap for most of the reception and didn’t care about any of the loud music and dancing going on!

There is so much more to say about the day…too much for a blog post.  I, of course, could go on an on and on.  Weddings are such an amazing thing…getting a whole bunch of people that you love in one place to witness your love and to get dressed up in their favorite clothes and to party party party.  There were so many smiles, so many laughs, so many amazing memories that we’ll have forever!

Jenny and Scott…we love you!
