WHAT ABOUT WHAT?

If you've come here looking for more work after visiting our website you're crazy....just kidding, you've come to the right place! This is a place where Mike and I can showcase some of our most recent work--if you're here and the last post is from months ago just remember that our priority is always keeping up with our event editing and getting images to our clients on time! Sadly, the blog, while we love it, doesn't always make it to the top of the to-do list. Rest assured, we'll be back, we always are! In the meantime feel free to get in touch via our contact form!

Mike and I are blown away by the support we have felt from our families, our friends, our colleagues, our clients…all of you amaze us. And while I would like to thank each and everyone of you with a sincere email, I also feel like moving forward.  Today was the D&E and all went well, as well as something like that can go.  The doctor said that he thinks that the cause of all this was Amniotic Banding Syndrome which I am quickly educating myself on…and while I am so sad that this means that the baby was most likely genetically normal and fully capable of living in this world…it also means that Mike and I aren’t predisposed to this happening again.

After writing the letter to the baby I felt at peace.  It is something I do for Emmie and Chase monthly and it felt like the right thing to do for this baby…and with everyone that said that they cried, and for all the rain that we had this week, it felt like the world cried with us.  This morning driving into Tufts in Boston the sun was shining, the clouds were a beautiful golden orange, and I knew that with everything we had been through this week that we are so lucky to be where we are and who we are.  We have each other, we have two amazing children, we absolutely love what we do, and now we have an angel watching over us in heaven.

So again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything this past week.

You are so incredibly blessed. The hardships this has brought to your life is meant only to strengthen you and bring you closer to something better. Only you can know what those are, but have faith that everything has happened as part of a greater journey toward living a more fulfilled, blessed, and generous life. I just want to wrap my arms around you and give you a huge hug. (((((((((((((( HUG ))))))))))))))
