WHAT ABOUT WHAT?

If you've come here looking for more work after visiting our website you're crazy....just kidding, you've come to the right place! This is a place where Mike and I can showcase some of our most recent work--if you're here and the last post is from months ago just remember that our priority is always keeping up with our event editing and getting images to our clients on time! Sadly, the blog, while we love it, doesn't always make it to the top of the to-do list. Rest assured, we'll be back, we always are! In the meantime feel free to get in touch via our contact form!

We just got back from a spectacular night…truly amazing.  There was a photography company that sadly didn’t deliver on about 100 of their clients images…our friends Lara and Kate from Studio Nouveau heard about it via Facebook and felt terrible.  So, they got a whole bunch of us together back in May to try to make up for what they lost….we know that it wasn’t the day, actually for some of them it was 2 years later and pregnant or with a baby in arms…but they got in wedding dresses and tuxes and we had the run of the Currier Museum in Manchester, NH and had really an unbelievable day just creating images….well, actually Mike and Tony (from Team Yu Photography) and I shot video instead of photo on this day so we could really show you what it felt like to be giving back to someone with such a big loss.  So here is the journey of 8 couples and the photographers, florists, caterers, hair and makeup artists, musicians, etc. who made the day happen.  The tears tonight from many of the couples as they watched the slide shows of actual images that they will now have to hang on their walls made every single second of editing this video, shooting on the day, and heading to CDIA tonight worth it a million times over.

Here is a list of the photographers who were on hand to help out:

Thanks Lara and Kate for inviting us to take part in this truly selfless venture of yours! We had a great time!

    But a Picture is forever.

What an amazing video and an even more amazing event! I can’t imagine how it would feel to not have any wedding photos. And then to have strangers reach out and recreate the day with you? Breathtaking!
